Episode 247: Rock the Dragon with Kyle Hebert


Rock the Dragon with Dragon Ball Z voice actor Kyle Hebert voice of Gohan, the Ox-King, the Narrator and more! Also he voices J. Jonah Jameson, and many other characters from anime, video games and so much more!

Kyle Hebert is a voice actor who started off as a fan of Dragon Ball Z and then was cast as adult Gohan (after the Cell Games) and joined the franchise including gaining the role as the narrator and the Ox-King, especially with the Dragon Ball Z Kai revamp of the series. Kyle Hebert then did many other projects for funimation and though he is no longer in Texas, still does some work with them. 

After DBZ we discuss his, now disney role, as Ryu in Wreck in Ralph and what that process was like. Also the Spider-Man Universe where he plays J. Jonah Jameson and even various other roles throughout television, and even podcasting where he helps out with the Smodcast Network and at one ti me even ran an anime podcast on the Kevin Smith Network.

Alésia Toyoko Glidewell is an American film director, producer and voice actress. She was previously the owner of a small production company. She has provided voices for video games, including Sly 2: Band of Thieves, where she plays Carmelita Fox and Constable Neyla; Star Fox: Assault, where she plays Krystal; and Super Smash Bros. Brawl, where she reprises the role of Krystal, as well as playing Zero Suit Samus and Knuckle Joe. Alesia provided the voice and movements of the adult Alma Wade in F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin. In the credits of F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin, she goes by the name Alicia Glidwell.

About the Guest: Greg Weisman is a novelist and American comic book and animation writer and producer, best known as the co-creator of Gargoyles and as the Supervising Producer of The Spectacular Spider-Man. Weisman also worked as producer on the Young Justice animated series. In addition, Weisman wrote the script for DC Showcase: Green Arrow, an animated short feature that is included on the DVD for the film, Superman/Batman: Apocalypse. His first novel, Rain of the Ghosts was released on December 3, 2013. Its sequel, Spirits of Ash and Foam was released on July 8, 2014. Weisman was executive producer on the Star Wars Rebels animated series, alongside Dave Filoni and Simon Kinberg, but left the show after season one had been produced. He is currently producing, writing and directing a full-cast unabridged AudioPlay based on Rain of the Ghosts.

Bombad Radio Special: Glenn Moreshower (SLCC)

This week we have a panel from January 2015, from Salt Lake Comic Con with Glenn Moreshower. 
Glenn Morshower is an American actor best known for playing Secret Service Agent Aaron Pierce in 24.  His character has developed a following among the show fando and appeared in every season of the show except its last. Since Glenn’s persona is that of a strong disciplined protective role, such as military, secret service or police man, many of his roles have followed suit.

Glenn has guest starred on may TV series, including Charmed, The Dukes of Hazzard, Matlock, The West Wing, Quantum Leap, Star Trek: The Next Generation, NYPD Blue, The X-Files, Millenium, Babylon 5, Star Trek: Voyager, King of the Hill, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, JAG, Alias, Star Trek: Enterprise, ER, NCIS, The Closer, Bones, Criminal Minds, Friday Night Lights and many others.

Glenn has also had roles in many major motion pictures such as Transformers: Dark of the Moon, X-Men: First Class, Moneyball, and Black Hawk Down. Glenn holds the record for the most military roles of any living actor.
